He was very efficient and get everything up and running in less than half an hour. Our fiber connection setup was handled expertly by Sail Internet, despite requiring a more complicated than typical installation. While our HOA had installed infrastructure for Sail Internet many years ago, the Sail technicians found that 4/8 of the cables travelling via underground conduit to our townhome into our garage were no longer functional, potentially due to animals or other damage. The distance via the conduit, into our garage, and up into our attic (~500 ft) was also too long to be serviced by CAT Ethernet cables (328 ft), since our townhome was on the exact opposite extreme end of the main fiber gateway. Sail technicians Angel Bermudez and Jeff Pelayo handled both of these issues by surveying the site and running new cables a long distance, directly along our shared townhome building's roof, into our home's attic. The new CAT cables are now delivering the expected ~800-900 Mbps in download and upload speed, despite traveling about 380 ft (slightly beyond their 328 ft rated limit). Their new location on the roof is also less likely to be interfered with by animals and obstructions. This was not an easy job, and I'm grateful to Sail for taking the time to upgrade my home and HOA's infrastructure. I am also happy to no longer be an Xfinity/Comcast customer, as Xfinity has never offered such high symmetric upload speeds or provided us with real fiber infrastructure.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It’s honestly a huge upgrade, and I didn’t realize how much my old setup was holding me back until I made the change.
